Argentinian artist Saskia Onvlee, at @lasonrisadelamuerte for #AMakerSeries. We stopped into the Todos Santos Art Tour while we were in the Baja, where Saskia showed us her stunning art where she carves into materials such as linoleum for her print making. If your ever in the Baja, stop by this gem and check out the other incredible artists featured in this beautiful gallery. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #TodosSantos #SaskiaOnvlee #PrintMaking #BajaCaliforniaSur at Baja California Sur, Mexico

Took our jeep down a Baja dirt road, dodging crossing cows and stray horses. 🌾 You never know what you’re going to find, including this architectural gem. #Dwell #BajaCaliforniaSur #IAmATraveler at Baja California Sur, Mexico

Slow days exploring the Baja. 🌵 The past two weeks have been a much needed rest of early surfs, street tacos, afternoon siestas, and exploring. México, te quiero mucho. #mytinyatlas #seekersofthesun #bajacaliforniasur at Baja California Sur, Mexico

A study on the open road in Kenya. Travel photography is something that I cherish. It’s what I built my love of photography on. I’m grateful to have had incredible clients, opportunities, experiences, and friends made through trips abroad. Recently a scam came to light targeting photographers on Instagram with a fake project, including some of my close friends. I wrote a small piece on it on Shutterstock, link in stories. Hopefully the tips these photographers shared will help protect this community and continue to allow us to do what we all love. Explore this incredible world. #MyTinyAtlas #TravelPhotography #Kenya at Samburu National Reserve

Calgary pastel & oil artist Amy Webber (@amywebberart) for #AMakerSeries. Invited into Amy’s lovely home, I was completely taken aback by her work with pastels and the defined textures of the rockies and ocean that she expertly captured in her work. Growing up, I used pastels in elementary school but never really experimented with the medium beyond that. To see Amy’s process and the incredible detail and softness pastels can capture when photographing nature was truly incredible. Some of her work is inspired by the ocean surrounding my current home in Vancouver Island, so it was really special to see the combination of two places in Canada I hold close to me through Amy’s talented eye and artistic talent. This is Amy Webber. #CalgaryArtist #MakePortraits #CoastalArt at Calgary, Alberta

Kelowna artist Nikki Balfour (@nikkibalfourfineart) for #AMakerSeries. 🌾 When I walked into her studio to hear the same album I was playing in my car on my drive over (Delta by @mumfordandsons) - I knew we’d connect instantly. As an artist, Nikki’s work draws inspiration from the landscape and colours of British Columbia, a place close to both of our hearts. While visiting where she creates in the heart of downtown, we had a beautiful conversation about growing up with multicultural backgrounds, loving the ocean and it’s colours, and desires to travel and seek inspiration in the unknown. Here are a few photographs from my time with Nikki at her studio in Kelowna. #MakePortraits #Kelowna #ExploreBC at Kelowna, British Columbia
